In addition to serving on the Board of the San Diego Air & Museum Edward’s sense of adventure and commitment to lifelong learning propelled him into an exciting new endeavor—learning to fly in his mid-50s. Despite the challenges and the fact that over 80% of students who begin flight training tend to drop out, Edward persisted and defied the odds and achieved his goal. He now pilots a Cirrus aircraft, showcasing his determination and embracing the thrill of aviation.
